Congratulations go to the winners of our first annual award, Peter Waller and Dad. Their outstanding duet brought the house down!

Heidi has been affiliated with Jan Smith Studios since 1988. She has worked professionally with the George Carere Orchestra, the Atlanta Pops, and other groups in the Atlanta metro area. Heidi has a Nashville connection through her work with PolyGram Publishing. Her initial training was in classical music and she received a BA degree from The University of Georgia in Drawing and Painting. She is an artist, painter, writer, and singer that continues to use her diverse artistic skills by helping others discover their unique voice.

Ebony has an extensive career as an R & B singer / songwriter. She also holds a degree in music. She has performed on variety shows, namely "Showtime in Harlem" and opened in London for the disco group, Heatwave. In addition, she has performed background vocals on recordings with Anotha Dais Productions here in Atlanta. Currently, Ebony continues to cultivate her singer, songwriter, and performer abilities and help others do the same at Jan Smith Studios.

Joel Hayes is the co-founder of the Georgia Cowboy Poets Association and the Georgia Cowboy Poetry Gathering. He has performed all over the West, blending humorous material with thought-provoking poems. Hayes is dedicated to his craft and to the promotion of cowboy poetry, often volunteering his time to perform. Hayes and his family live in Douglasville, Georgia.
