TechLearnIT opened its first facility January 15, 2009. Special guest Sandi Staiti was featured. Sandi paid cash for gold and donated a portion of the proceeds to TechLearnIT. Voncile Rayner, philanthropist; Patrice Dickey, life coach and author; Susan Barnes, CPA; Ron Barnes; Liza Robinson, Mary Kay consultant; Josephine Simmons, Bright Paper Co.; Denise DeBurst-Gines, Lasting Legacy; Charlotte Elder; Angela Scoggins; and many more friends were on hand to help us celebrate this momentous occasion.

Friends and supporters Steve, Lori, and Cecilia stopped by the Center on move-in day to lend a helping hand. TRC Companies, Inc., Lori's employer, gave TechLearnIT a $400 matching donation. Thank you TRC and the Conway family for your generosity!

Our first annual fundraiser was held after hours at Zoo Atlanta in the summer of 2008. We had a wonderful time singing, dancing, and participating in a special showing of the gorillas. This year's event promises to be even better!
