How We Will Create Partners |
|
Tech-Knowledge Learning Centers, Inc. will initiate a Stakeholder Collaboration Program to build a regional community of stakeholders for the purpose of financing and conducting TKLC program operations. The following strategies will be used to accomplish this task:
|
- Maintain a presence with the media to increase public awareness of TKLC programs;
- Establish and maintain communication with regional schools to promote awareness of TKLC program benefits and achievements for students;
- Work with area churches and community organizations to promote registration of families for TKLC participation;
- Work with regional workforce centers to expand awareness of career opportunities and employers' needs in the Decatur, Georgia area;
- Work with regional and national nonprofit organizations to increase participation and create awareness of disadvantaged youth in TKLC program activities;
- Recruit area school board members, administrators, school principals and counselors, teachers, clergy, and community leaders from government and industry to serve as TKLC advisors or members of the Board of Directors.

Our Program Partners |
TKLC Program Partners will consist of individuals, associations, businesses, and organizations in the community that support the TKLC mission by providing the resources, enthusiasm, and commitment needed for conducting technology educational activities for youth and adults. TKLC will not establish a formal legal relationship with TKLC Program Partners; however, TKLC may execute a memorandum of understanding with any TKLC Program supporting TKLC activities. The strategic plan is to have a minimum of three corporate TKLC Program Partners ready to host TKLC technology programs at the start of program operations. |
